About
Hi, I'm Teju!
I’ve always been drawn to places, rituals, and ideas that change how we see ourselves.
Over the last decade, that curiosity has turned into companies, shows, products, and a body of work rooted in beauty and wellness. I’ve built brands, documented global traditions, and written about what it means to live and build boldly.
This space is where I think out loud, document what I’m building, and share what I’m learning as it unfolds. If you’re building, exploring, or figuring things out too, let’s learn alongside each other.
In my early twenties, someone asked me what I wanted to do with my life. The only honest answer I had was that I wanted to 'inspire people to explore.' I didn’t know what that meant at the time. I just knew that every time I stepped into something new, even when it scared me, I grew. Travel, business, wellness, new languages, new ideas. Exploration has been the throughline of my life.
why this exists
My Mission
In my early twenties, a boss once asked me what I wanted to do with my life. I didn’t have a title or a five-year plan. I just said, “I think I’m supposed to inspire people to explore.”
I couldn’t fully explain what I meant at the time, but that sentence has followed me ever since.
Exploration has shaped everything I’ve built. It’s why I’ve chased wellness rituals across countries, experimented with new ideas before they made sense on paper, and started companies simply because I wanted to see what was possible. It’s why I’ve documented beauty traditions, written books, filmed stories, and said yes to projects that stretched me.
For a long time, I wondered if that instinct meant I was unfocused. Now I know it’s the through line.
This site exists for people who feel that same pull. The ones who are multi-passionate. The ones who want to build something meaningful but also want to travel, learn, experiment, and evolve. The ones who refuse to shrink themselves into a single identity.
If that’s you, this is for you. I’m building this space as a place where exploration is not only allowed, but encouraged.
what you'll find here
Explore, Build, Repeat
This is not a polished highlight reel. It’s where I think out loud. Where I document what I’m building. Where I share what I’m learning in real time, from trying a Hinoki bath in Kyoto to building a beauty brand from scratch to filming wellness rituals in places that feel unfamiliar.
Some of it will be business. Some of it will be culture. Some of it will be travel, relationships, ambition, self-doubt, reinvention.
All of it is exploration.
I don’t have everything figured out. I’m not here to speak from a pedestal. I’m here to build in public, to test ideas, to chase self-actualization in a way that feels honest.
If you’re someone who wants to build boldly, explore deeply, and stretch past your comfort zone, I hope you’ll stay close.
We’re better at this when we do it together.
